Tyrese‘s backyard was lit on Monday night, as he threw a big bash to celebrate his homie, Snoop Dogg‘s, 45th birthday.
“I told the big homie don’t let NO ONE throw you a 45th birthday jump off – he heard me out we ON tonight!!!!!!” Tyrese wrote on IG. “#MyBackyardIsAwesome happy birthday to my triple OG!!!!”
After turning up on the field, helping the Dallas Cowboys take the W over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, star rookies, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, took the turn up to the club to party with Snoop Dogg.
The game was held in San Francisco, and when the team touched down in the triple D, the fellas made their way to Punk Society, where Snoop was on hand as guest DJ for the night.
Kendrick Lamar surprised the crowd at the Cobb Energy Performing Centre in Atlanta during Saturday’s taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards – when he appeared on stage to present Snoop Dogg with his “I Am Hip Hop” honor.
“He mastered the game through tests and challenges that earned him the respect of a college professor, except his game came from the streets,” Kendrick said. “He put (me) on game, so I would avoid the same pitfalls. … Snoop Dogg was the God, and continues to be so.”
Snoop Dogg will be honored with the “I Am Hip Hop” award at the 11th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards.
According to Billboard, BET said on Tuesday that Snoop will receive the award Saturday, during the taped event at the Cobb Energy Performing Centre near Atlanta.
Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart are joining forces for a new show, Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party, heading to VH1.
According to the network, each week, the duo will invite some of their A-list pals over “for a half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.”
Snoop Dogg and The Game led a peaceful march to LAPD Headquarters Friday morning. Calling the march Operation H.U.N.T. (Hate Us Not Today), the rappers put in a request for men-only to stand with them as they walked the Los Angeles streets.
“Do not: bring any weapons or anything illegal,” Game wrote on Instagram. “Do not come high or belligerent.. We don’t need any HOT HEADS or anyone there for the wrong reasons… We will stand as we are, UNIFIED.”
Fat Joe and Remy Ma‘s “All the Way Up” makes its way to the west coast with a remix, featuring Snoop Dogg, The Game and E-40.
After lines from French Montana, Snoop takes it all the way up, referencing Elroy Jetson and Battlestar Galactica, then it’s on to Game, who holds it down for the Golden State Warriors – name dropping Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. E-40 helps put the finishing touches on the track; rapping about courtside seats and arena suites – and being cool with the hustlers and athletes.
Snoop Dogg‘s AOL series, Coach Snoop, is scheduled to air later this month, and you can now get a sneak peek at a different side the West Coast rap icon, in a trailer (watch at Rolling Stone) for the show.
