Black Girls Rock! 2016, hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, was held Friday night. The annual celebration of black women, featured performances from Monica, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, and Gladys Knight — and Rihanna, Shonda RhimesAmandla Stenberg, Danai Gurira, and Black Lives Matter founders Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi, were among the honorees.

Kelly Rowland, Erykah Badu, Gladys Knight and many more attended, plus, there was also an appearance from presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.

The Weeknd will not be joining Rihanna on the European leg of her ANTI world tour, “due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects,” reports Billboard.

The “Earned It” singer was scheduled to join the Bajan star in Amsterdam in June, to kick things off overseas.

Drake And Rihanna Visit Cancer Patient While In Miami


Taking a step away from the stage on her ANTI World Tour, Rihanna, along with Drake (who has shared the stage with her to perform their collaboration, “Work), took the time to meet with a cancer patient.

A Miami fan named Megan, describes meeting the two superstars, “The best day of [her] life.” A look at their vist, shared on the Instagram account of Drake fan, Aboodovo, finds Drake and RiRi posing for a pic with Megan, and she also snaps a couple with just Drake. A video posted shows Drizzy telling her, “Ok, this is the best Snapchat I’ve ever done before… It’s all love,” and then he kisses her on the cheek.

Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ World Tour Kicks Off In Florida


Rihanna kicked off her ANTI world tour in Jacksonville, FL this past Saturday (Mar. 12th). According to Rihanna Daily, the Bajan star hit the stage in designer digs from Jacquie Aiche, Armani Privé, Manolo Blahnik, Giuseppe Zanotti, Craig Green and more – while performing her hits like, “Man Down,” “Stay,” and “Work.”

“It’s been a while since we’ve been on tour,” she told the sold out crowd at Veterans Memorial Arena. “And now here we are in … Jacksonville?” There were a few select fans who were able to get in photos with the songstress.
