Nicki Minaj has a new fragrance, “Trini Girl,” that sees its U.S. launch today, on HSN. Nicki took to Instagram to post a photo of the bottle, as she announced the perfume’s release to fans.
Trini Girl is described as a, “sensual cocktail of juicy fruits and creamy coconut” which “capture the captivating charm of Nicki’s proud Trinidadian heritage” – and, according to reports, will be available as a body lotion and shower gel.
Rihanna just introduced a new fragrance, Crush by Rihanna, the second in her namesake RiRi collection.In the accompanying ad, the “Needed Me” singer is pretty in a pink dress, lace top thigh highs and sandals.
Crush is described as “mysteriously sexy and provocative scent” featuring “sensual woody notes pair with playful red fruits and pink musks to create an intoxicating fragrance with an undeniably fun, feminine twist.” The bottle, inspired by the original RiRi bottle, was designed by Rihanna herself.
Nicki Minaj rocks a draped pink gown, and big blonde hair with pink highlights, on the set of a commercial for her new fragrance. “Fragrance commercial shoot with the legendary David LaChapelle 1st look #dramatic,” she tweeted.
Nicki recently released Pink Friday Limited Edition, and is now prepping to roll out another fragrance. Not offering much information on the new scent, when speaking on it in an interview, she did say that the Barbz will be impressed with the bottle; “When the Barbz see that bottle—gag century. It’s going to be ca-razy.”
Nicki Minaj took to Twitter early yesterday to let her followers know that she had a surprise in store, which led to a lot of speculation of it being the announcement that she’d joined American Idol as a judge.
But the Head Barb In Charge gave an update a little later in the day revealing that the surprise would be the name and bottle of her new fragrance.
