President Obama paid a visit to Flint, Michigan on Wednesday, where he drank a glass of water to show that it is now safe following a lead contamination crisis – while addressing a crowd at a high school gymnasium.
The president blamed the crisis on a mindset that “less government is the highest good,” which says has led to disinvestment in poor communities.
As she gears up for her upcoming Formation World Tour, Beyoncé is also taking the opportunity to in Flint water crisis relief efforts.
An announcement that accompanied her tour information on Live Nation states: “True to her life’s work of always giving back, fans will be given the opportunity to participate in Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD initiative supporting local United Way programs and the continued work surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.”

According to Revolt TV, not only are AQUAhydrate investors (Diddy and Mark) teaming with Wiz and Enimem to donate the bottles of water – the company has pledged a long-term commitment to the area.
Meek Mill announced that he is enrolled in college, while delivering a motivational message to a group of students at Overbrook High School in Philadelphia .
“I just enrolled in college myself,” he says, “shout out to everybody in here, that’s on they way to college. I took it upon myself to do that because I wanna be the best at what I do.”
