Chris Brown Gun Case May Be Dropped Due To Lack Of Evidence

It looks like Chris Brown may dodge charges in his Baylee Curran gun case. According to TMZ, sources close to the investigation say the reason the case has not moved forward is because the D.A. is unimpressed with evidence gathered by police.

As the site previously reported, the case was supposed to be submitted to prosecutors two weeks ago, but the D.A. informally kicked it back for lack of evidence.

Ray Rice’s Domestic Violence Charges Dismissed By New Jersey Judge

Domestic violence charges against Ray Rice were dismissed Thursday. The former Baltimore Ravens running back was captured on video knocking out his then fiancée, Janay Palmer, in an elevator last year.

Atlantic City, New Jersey judge, Michael A. Donio, signed an order dismissing the charge after Ray completed a pretrial intervention program. Under it, Ray was required to submit to anger-management counseling, and also check in with a probation officer for one year. This allowed the 28-year-old to avoid formal prosecution on a charge of third-degree aggravated assault.
