Rihanna Debuts Faux Locs On Instagram


Rihanna took to Instagram earlier today to debut her long, flowing faux locs. “buffalo $oldier,” the bad gal wrote along with a pic that showed her taking a snap in the mirror.

RiRi had been in Paris, where she debuted her Fenty collection in collaboration with PUMA at Paris Fashion Week, and also took in a few shows.

Brandy Debuts ‘Beggin & Pleadin’ Music Video


After performing the song at this year’s Black Girls Rock!, Brandy debuts the visuals for her song, “Beggin & Pleadin.” Rockin’ a red sequined dress, the Zoe Ever After star sings her heart out at a juke joint – with a Shug Avery-inspired performance.

Rihanna Fenty X Puma Collection At New York Fashion Week


Rihanna debuted her new Fenty x PUMA collection during New York Fashion Week on Friday. The singer and creative director at PUMA rock’d an ovesized hoodie and stiletto booties as she strutted the runway herself.

“[Rihanna] challenged traditional male and female silhouettes and blurred the lines between genders that are often times too rigid for her fashion tastes,” reads a press release.

Chris Brown Previews New Song [Video]


On the heels of the release of his Royalty album, Chris Brown previews a new song. Although Breezy shared a series of videos to Instagram, that showed him jigging to the track – a fan edited clip features all of them edited to play straight through. While he didn’t give any info on the title, listening to the lyrics and according to the title of the fan-edited video, it seems like it may be “Other Side.” Check it out inside.

Fetty Wap’s Self-Titled Album Debuts At No. 1


Fetty Wap has scored himself a No. 1 album, with his self-titled debut opening at the top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart. According to Billboard, the set – released Sept. 25th via RGF/300 Entertainment – earned 129,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 1 ( according to Nielsen Music).

The “679” rapper is the first hip-hop artist to see a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 in over two years. A$AP Rocky, who took the top spot on the chart dated Feb. 2, 2012 with Long.Live.A$AP (138,000 copies sold in its first week), was the last to do so.

Drake And Future’s ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ Debuts At No. 1 + Drake Becomes Fourth Artist To Score 100 Billboard Hot 100 Hits


Drake and Future nab the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, for their joint mixtape What a Time to be Alive – also giving Drake his second chart-topper of 2015.

According to Billboard, “WATTBA” earned 375,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 24th – with 334,000 of that total being pure album sales.

Tamar Braxton Debuts New Song ‘King’ With ‘The Real’ Performance


Tamar Braxton stepped out of co-host role and put on her singer’s hat to debut a new song, “King,” while on The Real. Rockin’ a glittery, deep V plunge jumpsuit, the singer and reality star sang her heart out on the tender ballad – to appear on her upcoming Calling All Lovers album (due Oct. 2nd). Tamar also hit the stage with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, for Dancing with the Stars’ Season 21 premiere, last night. Watch her perform “King” inside.

Meek Mill Nabs His First No. 1 Album On The Billboard 200 Chart


Meek Mill‘s newly released album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 246,000 units sold in its first week – according to Nielsen Music.

“DWMTM” marks the “All Eyes on You” rapper’s largest sales week – 215,000 in traditional album sales –  and surpasses the opening week of his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, which saw 165,000 units moved in its 2012 launch.
