Congratulations are in order for Ciara and Russell Wilson, who are now a newly engaged couple. Following their appearance at Paris Fashion Week, they touched down in where we now know (via Us Weekly) was the Seychelles for a romantic vacation.
While there, Russell popped the question – and CiCi said yes! In a clip the “Jackie” singer shared on Instagram, they’re seen on the beach by candlelight. “She said yes… Making this thing happen, for my baby,” says the Seattle Seahawks quarterback. While an ecstatic Ciara adds, “Yay, I’m so excited. God is so good.”
Following an appearance at Paris Fashion Week, Ciara and Russell Wilson made their next stop a tropical one. The “Dance Like We’re Making Love” singer shared photos on Instagram of her and her Seattle Seahawks beau on a boat fishing.
She shared her catch, before posting a photo of both of them with fish, writing: “Of Course I Couldn’t Do It Without The Help Of My Partner In Crime…. #ProudMoment”

Ciara recently touched down in Lagos, Nigeria, where she visited with kids at Ilado Community Junior High School and the Akande Dahunsi Memorial Senior/Junior High School Group.
CiCi was all smiles, as she greeted them with hugs and snapped pics. “When I look In Their Eyes. I See Depth, Courage, Life, Love, Character, A Future Doctor, A Future Lawyer, A Future Scientist, A Future Leader, A Future Mom, A Future Dad,” she wrote on Instagram. “The Future! When I Hold Their Hands, I Feel The Sweetest Love. Grateful.”
Ciara will not be embarking on the second leg of her “Jackie” tour, previously scheduled to kick off this spring. The “I Bet” singer took to Facebook to make the announcement – sharing that she’s canceling the tour because she’s currently in the process of working on a new album.
“Important Message For My Fans Regarding Tour,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, my upcoming tour is moving again.. Why?…I’m currently in the process of making the best album of my career! I want to give all of you an incredible show… A show that you deserve! Therefore, I gotta stay focused in the studio and commit myself to this new music. I love you all, and I’m thankful for your unwavering support. I am excited for this journey to continue and look forward to seeing you soon! Love Ciara”
On Sunday, Ciara, her boyfriend, Russell Willson, and her son, baby Future, set out on a day of fun at Dodger Stadium in L.A. The team posted cute photos, which show the trio taking in the stadium – and one snap finds Russell holding on to baby Future’s hand while strolling the field.
CiCi will soon embark on the second leg of her North American Jackie Tour – sponsored by Topshop. She announced in November that it was being moved to Spring 2016.
Celebrating its 100th year in business, Keds enlists Ciara as one of the new faces for its spring ’16 campaign – “Keds Collective.”
In an ad from the campaign, CiCi’s seen rockin’ a blue jumper and multicolored sneakers from the brand. “Titans of Industry. Mavens of Style,” reads the caption.
Ciara has filed a $15 million lawsuit against her ex, Future, on accusations of libel and slander. According to theJasmineBRAND, the “I Bet” singer is asking the judge to order Future “to refrain from negatively speaking about her and stop trying to ruin her career, along with demanding 15 million dollars in damages from the rapper.”
The last straw for Ciara, the site reports, was Future’s tweets stating she would not allow him to see his son for over a year, and accusing her of having control problems. He also said he had to go through lawyers to see baby Future despite paying her 15k a month.
