Usher calls on Master P, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, A$AP Ferg and Gucci Mane for some assistance on the remix (Gmix) to his single, “No Limit.”
With the song taking inspiration from Master P’s ’90s hit, “Make ‘Em Say Uhh,” the No Limit Records CEO takes the lead; referencing his from his catalog like “I Got the Hook-Up” and “Bout It, Bout It.” As the others follow suit, there’s Silk the Shocker and C-Murder references, as well as other tributes to No Limit.
Gucci Mane had Atlanta’s Fox Theatre lit with “Gucci Mane and Friends” – his first show since his May release from prison.
Drake and his Summer Sixteen tour partner, Future, hit the stage with La flare, as well as 2 Chainz and Fetty Wap – and Gucci’s girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, also made an appearance.
2 Chainz recently snapped a few pics rockin’ a Gucci Tropical Print Nylon Jacket ($1520). The nylon jacket features the label’s colorful, tropical print, detachable hood and fluorescent printed flower appliqués at the chest. The “Spend It” rapper paired the jacket with black jeans and sneakers. Get another look inside.
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz join forces on a brand new collaborative album, ColleGrove, which saw its release today. The 13-song LP, whose name is a combination of both rappers’ hometown, features Tity Boi on the artwork – rockin’ Wayne’s tattoos and piercings.
The duo linked to perform “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday,” one of the ColleGrove’s track, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month.
2 Chainz “Watch Out” gets the video treatment. Throughout the video, the Atlanta rapper appears with his head replacing individuals’ on their bodies. He’s seen seated at a piano, hitting a few dance moves (including the dab), and as President Obama. The “Why You Always Lyin'” viral star also makes a cameo in Tity Boi’s version. After helping families throughout the holiday season, 2 Chainz continues to lend a helping hand in the new year. He and his T.R.U. Foundation donated a five-bedroom house to an Atlanta family of 11, the Stensons.
The “Watch Out” rapper first heard of the family after Atlanta’s Progression Church started a Go Fund Me account in support of them.
Last week, Anthony Hamilton & the Hamiltones dropped a video of them putting a unique R&B spin on 2 Chainz‘ hit, “Watch Out.” While washing dishes and whipping up something in the kitchen, the fellas dabbed and stiff-armed to the song. 2 Chainz and his T.R.U. Foundation gave back to families in need all throughout the holiday season, via proceeds from the sales of his “Dabbin’ Santa” sweaters. The sweater, which combined the “ugly Christmas sweater” concept with the dabbin’ trend, raked in $2 million for the rapper – he revealed in an interview with Forbes.
During his conversation, he also gave some insight on how the sweater came about, the charitable side of the project, and he also talks the disabled veteran he helped by paying her rent for a year.
