Nicki Minaj has been named to the annual Time 100 Most Influential People list, and also nabs one of the issue’s covers.
In a video interview with the publication, Nicki touches on the subject of equal pay for women: “I would tell women starting out in business, if you know you’re great at what you do, don’t ever be ashamed to ask for the top dollar in your field,” she says – and also talks the influence her collaborations with Beyoncé have had on young women.
Beyoncé sits atop TIME magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Additionally, she poses for the cover of the issue.
In a write-up by Sheryl Sandberg, the Facebook COO and LeanIn.Org founder refers to the global superstar as “the boss.” She starts out saying; “Beyoncé doesn’t just sit at the table. She builds a better one. Today she sits at the head of the boardroom table at Parkwood Entertainment.”
