Music Video: Sevyn Streeter – ‘D4L’ (Ft. The Dream)

After debuting her The-Dream-assisted “D4L,” last week, Sevyn Streeter drops off the song’s visuals. The definition of D4L appears on the screen at the beginning of the clip – “The act of pleasing one’s mate and knowing when to switch that sh** up” – it reads.

And switch it up she does, as the songstress takes on the role of a number of sexy personas for her man, like Kitty, Trixy, Alexa and Ms. Streeter.

“My song “D4L” is all about keeping the spice in your relationship. I think it’s sexy and exciting to switch up your looks and give your man different sides of you, do a little role play!” Sevyn tells Billboard. “I wanted to visually show the different sides that can live within any woman for her man.”

The sultry single is one of three released from Sevyn’s upcoming album, Girl Disrupted, due out in January, and along with Dream, the LP includes contributions from producer/songwriter, Tricky Stewart.

“Working with The-Dream & Tricky on this record was definitely a dream come true (pun intended, lol)! As a songwriter myself, they’ve always been a team looked up to,” Sevyn admits about her collaborators. “Dream & Tricky just get it! The sound they brought to Girl Disrupted with ‘D4L’ and other records really elevated the project, while really tapping into my artistry.”
