Shortly after closing out her Rio Olympics run, where she took home a gold medal with fellow Team USA gymnasts, Gabby Douglas will be joining the panel of judges at the 2017 Miss America Competition.
The Miss America Organization announced on Monday that the gold medal winner will sit on the panel along with, Laura Marano, known for her role as Ally in the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally, Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, and additional judges.
“Miss America has been such an amazing event for so many years and I am excited to have the opportunity to judge the competition this year,” Gabby told USA Today in a statement. “The contestants are a great example of strong women across America and I especially look forward to hearing the platforms that each of them will represent!”
The show will be broadcast live on Sunday, Sept. 11th at 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
