Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Nabs Four Emmy Nominations


Beyoncé‘s Lemonade has been picked up four Emmy nominations. The platinum album earned nods in Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special category – Outstanding Production Design For A Variety, Nonfiction, Event Or Award Special – Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming – and Outstanding Variety Special.

Lemonade made its debut at No. 1 with its April 23rd release, earning Queen Bey her sixth chart topper. She was previously nominated in 2013 for her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, and again in 2015, for the documentary featuring her and Jay Z‘s On The Run tour.
