Beyoncé has teamed up with H&M for their 2013 summer campaign. Back in January, rumors began circulating that the singer was partnering with the Swedish retailer when photos from a shoot in the Bahamas were leaked.
Now the first ad from the campaign has been released, along with details on the collaboration. In the pic, Bey is seen lounging in black and gold printed shorts, a sleeveless button down top, and black sandals.
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.” Beyoncé said when speaking on the collaboration.
The campaign will include billboards, commercials (which feature a new track Bey recorded, titled “Standing on the Sun”), and print ads.
